What We Believe

The Bible:
We believe the Holy Scripture to be the infallible Word of God, the basis of our Christian faith and the final, definitive guide for our daily lives.

voluntary disobedience he incurred physical death and spiritual death, which is separation from God.

Romans 5:12-21

Salvation:
We believe Salvation has been provided for all people through the work of Christ at Calvary, resulting in eternal life for all who believe, turn from sin and place their hope in Him alone.
John 3:16; John 5:24; Ephesians 2:8-10; Colossians 1:22

Gifts and Fruit of the Holy Spirit:
We believe that both the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit are a continuing part of God's plan for His church.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 4:11-13; Galatians 6:24

The Church:
We believe the church, which is the body of Christ, is composed of all believers and exists for worship, fellowship, spiritual growth and support, and for evangelizing the world.
Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:46-47; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Galatians 6:2

Water Baptism:
We believe that baptism by immersion is an act of obedience to the Lord and is symbolic of the believer's identification with His death, burial, and resurrection.

Communion:
We believe in partaking of the Lord's Supper as a reminder of Christ's death and resurrection.
